Engine cranks but will not start.

Possible Cause
Incorrect starting procedure
The fuel tank is empty
The fuel shut-off valve is closed
Dirt or water is in the fuel system
Clogged fuel line
The spark plug lead is disconnected
The kill relay not energized
A spark plug is faulty
Faulty ignition module

Starter does not crank.

Possible Cause
Blown or loose fuse
Battery is discharged
