Saving a Design –
a. Save – Will allow saving the file under the current name.
b. Save As – Will allow saving the file under a new name.
Printing a Design –
The print function provides all the necessary controls needed to choose the
exact se-up of the final printout. It also acts as a preview window for the final
printed design. It is possible to manipulate and customize every aspect of the
page or pages that will be printed. Click on the Print icon on the tool bar.
Select the desired buttons to set up the page as desired.
Measuring a Design –
The Ruler function will allow for measuring a design. Click on the Ruler
icon. Click on one edge of the design, bring the cursor over to the other side
of the design. The message in the status bar at the bottom of the screen will
display the measurement of the design. Measure can be displayed as metric
or standard units. To change the unit of measure, click on the small box in
the upper left hand corner where the rulers meet, and select the unit of
measure.
Enlarging the View of the Design –
The Zoom function allows enlarging any part of the design on the
Screen. It works by dragging a constant shaped rectangle, (by using the
mouse) across the area to be enlarged. Click on the Zoom icon,
click, hold and drag the mouse over the area to be zoomed, and
release the button.
Sending the Design to the Machine
o Click on the Transmit to Machine icon.
o In the Send to Machine Dialogue Box, select the Port the sewing machine
is connected to.
