How to Use the Conversion Software:

Loading a Design

a. First, click on the Open icon on the horizontal tool bar.
b. Select the desired design from the hard drive, floppy disk or CD.
o Select the drive specific Drive in which designs have been stored.
o Preview the design icons next to their names
o If known, the name of the design can be typed into the File Text Box.
o Select the type of file to be loaded, for example: psw or xxx.
Editing Features –
a. Centering Design – The design will center according to the frame center.
Click on Modify from the horizontal tool bar, click on Center Design.
b. Clean Up – The clean up function deletes small stitches in your design,
the
length of which can be defined by typing the values in the dialog box.
Click on Modify from the horizontal tool bar, click on Center Design.
c. Changing the Thread Colors – This option allows changing the thread
and screen colors used by the program.
o Click on the Stitch Colors icon on the tool bar (looks like a
"painter's palette"). On the window which appears, select the color
to be changed and then change it by selecting a different value
from the color bar. Color intensity may also be adjusted. Colors
can also be selected with the use of the thread catalog. Select the
thread palette and click on the Thread Palette button to view and
select from the range of colors provided. Click on the OK to
confirm the changes made.
o Change the background color simply by clicking on the related
button on the "Colors" window (the little "TV screen"), then select
the desired color for the background from the color bar and click
on the OK to confirm the changes made.
