Resetting the Sonos Controller

If you want to join your computer to a different Sonos Multi-Room Music System, you must first factory reset your Sonos Controller.
(This may be necessary if you inadvertently set up two different mesh networks during the setup process, or if you have purchased
a previously used Sonos system.)
Resetting the Sonos Controller for Mac or PC
Using the Desktop Controller for Windows
Select Reset Sonos Controller for Mac or PC from the Help menu.
1.
Click Yes.
2.
Using the Desktop Controller for Macintosh
Select Reset Desktop Controller from the Sonos menu.
1.
Click Reset.
2.
Select Quit.
3.
The Sonos Controller for Mac or PC window will automatically close. The next time you start the Sonos Controller for Mac or PC
software, the Setup Wizard will appear to prompt you through the setup process. If you are joining your computer to a Sonos Multi-
Room Music System that is already set up, you do not have to press the Mute and Volume Up buttons on every ZonePlayer again
- just one that is connected to your Sonos system.
