Chapter 10: The Sonos® Controller 100
Your SIRIUS radio stations are displayed.
Use the scroll wheel to select a radio station, and press OK.

Note: SIRIUS allows playback of one radio channel at a time in your household. This means that
if you are listening to SIRIUS in your home office, and someone in the kitchen starts a different
SIRIUS channel, the SIRIUS channel in your home office will stop playing.

Line-In

From the Music menu, select Line-In Sources and press OK.
• To play music from this source, highlight it and press OK.
• To change the name of the component, highlight it and select Edit Name. Choose a new name from the list, and press OK.
• To change the line-in level for this component, highlight it and select Edit Line Level. Choose the line-in level appropriate for
this device, and press OK.
A default (typical) line-in level is automatically assigned when you select a source name. If the volume sounds too low, you can
select a higher line level for this device. You may experience clipping at higher volume levels if you set the level too high.

Clock and Alarms

This section discusses how to use the clock and alarms features on a Sonos Controller 100. For help using the Sonos Controller for
Mac or PC, go to "Clock and Alarms" on page 8-3. For help using the Sonos Controller 200, go to "Clock and Alarms" on page 5-6.
Setting date and time
From the Music menu, select Clocks and Alarms.

Select Date and Time Settings.

Choose one of the following options:

• Select Time Zone. Use the scroll wheel to select your time zone from the list, and then press OK. Next, select Date and use
the scroll wheel to set today's date, pressing OK after each entry. If desired, you can change the date and time display formats
by selecting the corresponding options from the Date and Time Settings menu.
• Or, select Select Date and Time from the Internet, and then press OK. Select On or Off. When this is on, your Sonos system
will periodically update the date and time from the Internet. If desired, you can change the date and time display formats by
selecting the corresponding options from the Date and Time Settings menu.
• Or, you can set the date and time manually. Select Date and press OK. Use the scroll wheel to select today's date, pressing
OK after each entry. Follow the same process to set the time by selecting Time from the Date and Time Settings menu. If
desired, you can change the date and time display formats by selecting the corresponding menu options.
Adding an alarm
From the Music menu, select Clock and Alarms>Alarms.

Press New Alarm.

Use the scroll wheel to select the desired settings for this alarm, including the alarm time, the zone you would like the alarm to

play in, the music source you'd like to play from, the frequency of the alarm, and the volume setting. Press OK after each
entry.
Note: If the music you've selected is not available (such as an Internet radio station that has
dropped off), your alarm will play the Sonos chime instead.
Select Advanced to choose additional alarm preferences:

• Alarm duration — select the length of time you want the alarm music to play
