WARNING:
remove the power cord to remove power from the server. The front panel Power On/Standby
button does not completely shut off system power. Portions of the power supply and some internal
circuitry remain active until AC power is removed.
CAUTION:
remove all AC power cords before removing or installing the PCI riser cage.
Power down the server (on page 18).

Remove all power:

Disconnect each power cord from the power source.

Extend the server from the rack (on page 18).

Remove the access panel (on page 20).

If any full-length expansion boards are installed, release the full-length expansion board retainer.

Remove the PCIe riser cage.

Install the primary PCIe riser cage
