5.2.4 Setting up the management blade

Open the BX400 MMB WebUI in advanced mode and navigate to Information/Operation → User Management →
Global Users. The following screenshot shows an example of the settings required for communication with an
openLDAP Server:
1. Enable LDAP: Enables LDAP authentication.
2. Enable LDAP SSL: Enables SSL communication between the MMB and the openLDAP Server. (Requires a
valid CA certificate to be uploaded to the MMB.)
3. Disable Local Login: Disables the option of logging in without LDAP authentication.
4. Always Use SSL Login: Enables only SSL logins at the MMB WebUI. (This option will be enabled automatically,
LDAP requires HTTPS to be enabled.)
5. Directory Server Type: Sets the LDAP Server type (OpenLDAP).
6. LDAP Server: IP address of the LDAP Server.
7. Domain Name: Name of the domain (e.g. testdomain2.local).
8. Base DN: Assigned automatically.

testdomain2,dc=local".
12. LDAP Auth. User Password: Password of the manager account.
