HP Setup Program
For example, a PC has two hard disk drives installed:
Hard Disk Drive Physical Connection
3.2 GB Master IDE connector
4.3 GB Slave IDE connector
If you switch the IDE data connectors between the two hard disk
drives, there will be no change to the boot setting:
Hard Disk Drive Physical Connection
3.2 GB Slave IDE connector
4.3 GB Master IDE connector
To change the bootable hard disk drive, you must use the Setup
program. The configuration will then be:
Hard Disk Drive Physical Connection
3.2 GB Slave IDE connector
4.3 GB Master IDE connector
The PC will now boot from the 4.3 GB hard disk drive instead of the
3.2 GB hard disk drive.
