Description
In midnight black finish for use on all computer models (includes power button board and cable
and TouchPad and TouchPad cable)
In natural silver finish for use only on computer models equipped with an Intel processor (includes
power button board and cable and TouchPad and TouchPad cable)
Before removing the top cover, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the top cover:
1.
Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.
2.
Open the computer.
3.
Remove the 3 screws from each hinge on the top cover (1), and then remove the top cover (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the top cover.
