Replacing the Toner Cartridge and
Cleaning Pad
When the Add Toner indicator (D)
starts to blink, the toner cartridge is
almost empty. You will make 100
more copies before you have to
change the toner cartridge.
When the Add Toner indicator (D)
remains lit, it is time to install a new
toner cartridge.
R WARNING:
Do not incinerate used toner or toner con-
tainers. Toner dust might ignite when ex-
posed to an open flame. Dispose of the used
toner cartridge according to local regula-
tions for plastics.
This machine has been tested for safety us-
ing this supplier's parts and consumables.
We recommend you only use these specified
supplies.
When removing the toner cartridge, do not
touch the electrical elements and a screw in-
side the machine as this may damage the
unit.

Replacing the Toner Cartridge and Cleaning Pad

R CAUTION:
When removing misfed paper, do not touch
the fusing section because it could be very
hot.

Open the box of the new toner
cartridge and check to make sure
it contains a toner cartridge and
cleaning pad.

tridge by its handle.
