Ending a Connection

To disconnect, do one of the following:

Connecting Directly to an E-Mail Server

You can set up a connection to an e-mail server so that you can send and receive e-mail
messages by using a modem or network connection and Inbox on your Model 70.
Note: The ISP or network must use a POP3 or IMAP4 e-mail server and an SMTP
gateway.
You can use multiple e-mail services to receive your messages. For each e-mail service
you intend to use, first set up and name the e-mail service. If you use the same service to
connect to different mailboxes, set up and name each mailbox connection.
To set up a e-mail service
For an explanation of a screen, tap
your e-mail server, tap Services and then Connect. For more information on using the
Inbox program, see "Using Inbox" in Chapter 3.

When connected via cable or cradle, detach your Model 70 from the cable or cradle.
When connected via infrared, move your Model 70 away from the other infrared
device.
When connected via dial-up or VPN, tap the Connection icon, on your navigation
bar, and then tap End.
When connected via a network (Ethernet) card, remove the card from your Model
70.
In Inbox on your Model 70, tap Services, and then New Service. Follow the
directions in the New Service wizard.
