You can customize your Model 70 by adjusting settings, using notifications,

Adjusting Settings

You can adjust Model 70 settings to suit the way you work. To see available options,
tap Settings, and then the Personal or System tab located at the bottom of the screen.

Today, to customize the look and the information that is displayed on the Today
screen. Here is a summary of the settings you can adjust and where they are located:
Description
Find out about your Model 70. You may need this information if you add
programs or if you call Intermec Technical Support.
Adjust the touch screen if it is not responding accurately.
Set the length of time before the backlight turns off when the Model 70 is idle.
Change the association of the program buttons so that they open different
programs. Adjust the up/down control of the wheel.
Change the time or set alarms.
Adjust the contrast of the screen.
Define the program buttons as left/right and up/down game keys. Define the
Start button to fire.
Customize the input method and set word completion settings.
