Using Notifications

The Model 70 reminds you in a variety of ways when you have something to do. For
example, if you have set up an appointment in Calendar, a task with a due date in Tasks,
or an alarm in Clock, you will be notified in any of the following ways:
To choose reminder types and sounds for your Model 70, tap
the Personal tab, tap Sounds & Notifications. The options you choose here apply
throughout the device.

Adding or Removing Programs

Programs added to your Model 70 at the factory are stored in ROM (read-only
memory). You cannot remove or modify this software, and you will never accidentally
lose ROM contents. ROM programs can be updated using special installation programs
with a *.XIP extension. All other programs and data files added to your Model 70 after
factory installation are stored in RAM (random access memory).
You can install any program created for Model 70, as long as your Model 70 has
enough memory. The most popular place to find software for your Model 70 is on the
Microsoft Pocket PC Companion CD and the Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 Web site at
http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/pocketpc.
