Entering Information

You have several options for entering new information:

Entering Text Using the Input Panel

Use the input panel to enter information in any program on your Model 70. You can
type using the soft keyboard or you can write using the Letter Recognizer, Block
Recognizer, or Transcriber. In all cases, the characters appear as typed text on the
screen.
Letter Recognizer This program lets you use the stylus to write letters just as you
would on paper.
Block Recognizer This program lets you use the stylus to input character strokes that
are similar to those used on other devices.

Use the input panel to enter typed text by using the soft keyboard, Letter
Recognizer, Block Recognizer, or Transcriber.
Write directly on the screen.
Draw pictures on the screen.
Record a message.
Use ActiveSync to synchronize or copy information from your desktop computer to
your Model 70. For more information, see the ActiveSync online help on your
desktop computer.
