1. OPEN/CLOSE A button* (DVD / VCR)
Press to open or close the disc tray.
Press to remove the tape from the unit.
2. Number buttons (DVD / VCR)
Press to select channel numbers.
Press to select a title / chapter / track on the display.
Press to enter values for settings in the setup menu.
Press to enter the number in the Index or Time
search in VCR mode.
Press to enter the characters in edit function.
3. REPEAT button (DVD)
Press to select the Repeat mode.
4. TOP MENU button (DVD)
Press to display the Title menu.
5. Direction buttons ( K / L / { / B) (DVD / VCR)
Press to select items or settings.
6. CLEAR button (DVD / VCR)
DVD mode
Press to clear the password once entered.
Press to cancel the programming for a disc.
Press to clear the selecting marker number in the
marker setup mode.
Press to clear the programme once entered in the
timer recording setting mode.
VCR mode
Press to reset the tape counter.
7. SKIP H button (DVD)
During playback, press once midway through a
chapter or track to go back to the beginning of the
current chapter or track. When pressed twice in
quick succession, playback will start from the
preceding chapter or track.
When playback is paused, press to play reverse
step by step.
8. REV E button (DVD / VCR)
DVD mode
During playback, press to reverse fast.
When playback is paused, press to play slow
reverse.
VCR mode
Press to rewind the videotape in stop mode.
Press to view the picture rapidly in reverse during
the playback mode.
9. PAUSE F button (DVD / VCR)
Press to pause playback or recording.
10. T-SET button (DVD / VCR)
Press to enter the timer-standby mode. In the timer-
standby mode, press to cancel the mode and to turn
on the unit.
11. 1.3x / 0.8x PLAY button (DVD)
During playback, press to playback in a slightly
faster/slower speed while keeping the audio quality.
12. TIMER PROG button (DVD / VCR)
Press to display the Timer Programme setting menu.
