Inserting Batteries in Remote Control
Unit
Insert two "AA" (R6) size batteries. Make sure
the positive and negative ends are as shown in
the illustration below.
Cautions on use of remote control
The remote control may not operate correctly if the CD/
receiver's remote sensor is exposed to direct sunlight or
other strong light sources. Change the CD/receiver's
position or block off the light source if this problem
occurs.
Operation range of remote control
The remote control operates up to about 7 meters (23
feet) away from the CD/receiver's remote sensor and up
to an angle of about 30° from the dead-center position.

If the remote control's operation range becomes
narrower, replace the batteries with new ones.
Incorrect use of batteries may result in battery fluid
leakage or equipment damage. Note the following
points carefully. (Also, read any precautions that
come with the batteries.)
