Wake-up Timer: Set playback to start at a specified time
How to set the Wake-up Timer for

daily operation

Once you have set up the Wake-up Timer at a
certain time, the timer setting remains in effect
until it is changed. The Wake-up Timer can
therefore be reset to operate the next morning
at the same time setting simply by pressing the
TIMER button, which causes "WAKE UP" to
appear in the display panel (and the TIMER
button to light). As before, the last step is to
turn off the system's power.
How to prevent the Wake-up Timer
from operating again
To do this, simply press the TIMER button so
that its lamp is no longer lit. Even after that,
you can have the Wake-up Timer restored by
pressing the TIMER button several times until
"WAKE UP" appears in the display panel.
Normal use of CD/Receiver System
after Wake-up Timer has been set
Even if the TIMER button's lamp is lit, you can
still use the CD/Receiver System as you nor-
mally would, as long as the system's power is
on.
When you are done using the system, be sure
to set up the audio source for timer-based
playback, then turn off the system's power.
How to check the Wake-up Timer
setting
While the system's power is off, press the CD/
receiver's DISPLAY button. This causes "WAKE
UP" to appear in the display panel, after which
the following information appears at one-
second intervals.
Playback start time setting = Playback end
time setting = Audio source = Volume
Finally, "END" appears, then the display panel
goes blank after a moment.
