Verify that the color of the label in
the toner compartment is the same
as the color of the toner in the
cartridge.
Attention
Installing a cartridge with toner of a different color than the label in the
compartment may damage the printer.

Supporting the middle of the
cartridge with your left hand, place
the thumb and index finger of your
right hand into the two holes in the
front of the toner cartridge, and then
insert the cartridge so that the
guides on the cartridge fit into the
rails in the cartridge compartment in
the carousel.

Gently push the new toner cartridge
into the printer.

Close the printer's front door.

After about 150-seconds "Printer
Idle" appears in the Status Display.
The printer must complete a
150-second calibration cycle
after any consumable has
been replaced. If you open
the door before the Ready
indicator on the control panel
lights up and the Error indi-
cator turns off, the printer
stops and repeats the calibration cycle.

If the logo written on the box of the toner cartridge to be installed is
KONICA MINOLTA, proceed to step 24. If the logo is MINOLTA-QMS,
continue to step 19 to set the capacity of the toner cartridge.
