4. Touch Panel

What's a Touch Panel?

When you turn the copier ON, the Basic screen as shown below appears on the Touch Panel.
See Initial Mode and Panel Resetting
The Touch Panel is the major source of information, showing in messages and graphics the currently
set functions, available functions to choose from, and the copier status.
You have only to touch the key shown on the Touch Panel to select or activate the function
represented by the key.

How the Screen is Organized

In the following, we show typical screens with a brief description of each of them.

Finishing
Ready to copy.
Auto Expo.
Exposure
Basic Function/Key Display
Shows the Basic Function keys and the basic functions currently selected for use.
<Example: Basic Function Keys on Basic screen>
Auto Expo.
Exposure
When any of the Basic Function keys is touched, the corresponding Basic Function screen
appears.
