Turning On the Copier

When the copier is turned on, the indicator on the [Start] key lights up in
orange.
After a few seconds, the message "Warming up Pre-program a job."
appears on the touch panel and the [Start] key indicator lights up in green.
At this time, a delayed copy job can be specified. (Refer to page 3-25.)
However, even though the [Start] key is pressed, the copy operation is not
performed until the copier has finished warming up (after about 5 minutes
at normal room temperature (20°C/68°F)).

Default Settings

The Basic screen, which appears on the touch panel when the copier is
turned on, displays the default settings. The Basic screen serves as a
reference for all settings that are to be made.
