Setting the penetration depth

You can set the penetration depth of the lancet to 1 of
11 possible settings (0.5–5.5). The silver line (penetra-
tion depth indicator) on the lancing device indicates the
current penetration depth setting. The higher the

number, the deeper the penetration. The half-settings
indicator
for the penetration depth are indicated by a dot. The
penetration depth 1.5 is set when the line points to the
Half-settings
dot between 1 and 2.
If you have no experience with using this lancing
device, we recommend that you start with a low pen-
etration depth setting such as 1.
1 Rotate the cap of the lancing device until the de-
sired penetration depth is level with the indicator.
Do not lance your finger until you are told to do
