Settings tab

Performs settings of the printer.

The method to open the Properties window depends on OS. Refer to "About properties window" on
page 7-3 about how to open the Property window.
EMF Spool
Select this check box when meta file (EMF) spool is required for use in its own system environment.
Display paper set in print server properties
Uses the paper that was added in [Server Properties] of the printer folder.
Enhanced security
By turning ON the [Enhanced Security], you can enter nothing anymore to the password input field for the
following functions so that the password cannot be transmitted from the printer driver to the printing system
through the network:
- Secure Print (page 7-21)
- User Authentication/Account Track (page 7-25)
To print using these functions, you should enter the password on the control panel of the copier after
transmitting the print data. Refer to "User's Guide (Security)" for more information.
Popup authentication dialog when printing
Displays the User Authentication/Account Track dialog box when a print job is specified to enter a user name
or a department name.
Fix secure print
Turn on the checkbox when the output method of Basic tab is fixed to the Secure Print.
Popup the user settings dialog at secure print
Displays the User Settings dialog box when a secure print is specified.
