CLEAR TRACK, CLEAR RIFF, CLEAR TEMPO, CLEAR ALL

The CLEAR TRACK function is used to clear: a single track of the RIFF, all the tracks of a RIFF, the Tempo
track in a Style or the entire Style. The CLEAR TRACK and CLEAR RIFF functions affect the current Variation
only. CLEAR TEMPO and CLEAR ALL modify the entire Style.

Once the Style is in Record mode, press the CLEAR button
Select the RIFF you wish to cancel using the + / – buttons

The following RIFFS can be selected: BasicMaj, BasicMin, Basic7th, IntMajor,
IntMinor, In7_th, EndMajor, EndMinor, End7_th, Fill, TempoTrk, ALL.

Select the VARIATION by pressing the relative button
Select the track you wish to cancel by pressing the corresponding Function

Select the CLEAR TEMPO track function using the TEMPO/DATA keys if

you with to cancel the recorded Tempo and return to the default status
Select the CLEAR ALL function using the TEMPO/DATA to completely can-

cel the Style
Once the desired section has been selected: Track, RIFF, Tempo, All; press

ENTER twice to confi rm
Press ESCAPE to exit and return to Record mode. A recorded track is identifi ed by the name appear-
ing above the Program Change number.
The User Styles are stored to the instrument memory even switching off the instrument. To prevent un-
wanted loss of data, you are recommended to save your User Styles to a Floppy Disk. Information about
Save Style procedure are given the [DISK] chapter this Owner's Manual.
Note: Pressing the ENTER button twice will cancel the RIFF completely.
The function COPY is used to copy an existing Style (either ROM or User) to any of the 8 Style User locations
(96-103) available in the memory. For example, you can use the COPY function to copy a ROM Style and
successively modify the copy by adding or cancelling elements from the Style tracks.

Enter the Record mode, then press the COPY function button
The number blinking to the left corresponds to the source Style. The number
to the right is the destination, automatically selected. For example, the User
Style in location 96 will have location 97 as destination

Use the TEMPO/DATA buttons to select the Style you wish to copy (00-103).

Press ENTER twice to confi rm copy

Press ESCAPE to exit the function and return to Record mode.
