This section contains the buttons to enable the style functions.
Enabling ARRANGE ON/OFF is on (LED on), all the accompaniment tracks are
activated to play. If this button is OFF, only the Drum track will play after the
start.
Enabling the LOWER MEMORY function (the display led is ON), the notes
played in the right hand section of the keyoard will keep on playing even if the
left hand is raised. When the function is OFF, the sound in the Lower keyboard
section will end as the left hand is raised. The Lower memory function is useful
to hold "pad" sounds without using a Damper Pedal, which may be of more
use for the right-hand section of the keyboard.
The two balance keys for ACCOMP and KEYBOARD function are a shortcut to
balance the realtime and the arranger sections performing levels.
The Tempo speed of a Style can be changed using the TEMPO/DATA buttons
either before starting or during a Style, regardless of the TEMPO LOCK sta-
tus.
(IMPORTANT: In some operating situations the same functions control other pa-
rameter. For example, TEMPO/DATA button control the volume of a blinking
track.
The current Tempo can be stored to a Performance, and be ready for new settings. To recap, it is
possible:
A
To select a Style with Single Touch Play active and recall the original Style tempo from the ROM
B
Recall a Performance where a user programmed Tempo was stored
C
To fi x a Tempo that can not be changed (using the TEMPO LOCK function).
The TEMPO LOCK function locks the current Style Tempo allowing you to recall
Styles without changing the Tempo, regardless of the status of the Single Touch
Play button. Nevertheless, it is always possible to change the Tempo in real
time using the TEMPO/DATA button. The activation of TEMPO LOCK is shown
in the display with the alternate fl ashing of the Tempo setting and the word
"LOC". When TEMPO LOCK is ON, the Tempo setting remains fi xed for all
