Data from Floppy disk can be loaded into wk1000 RAM memory in different ways:
1 As a single element (Load Song, Load Style Style, Load MidiFile)
2 As a set of fi les from a Group (Load Styles, Load Performance Groups, Load Samples)
3 As ALL DISK then all the data contained in the disk previously saved in ALL Disk mode.
WK and PK songs, as well as MidiFiles, can be e executed directly from the fl oppy disk.
Insert a Floppy Disk into the disk drive and press the FLOPPY DISK button. The DISK

icon and the name of the fi rst fi le contained in the Floppy Disk will appear in the
display.
2 Press PAGE to select the LOAD page
3 Select the desired fi le using the TEMPO/DATA buttons, press ENTER to confi rm
WK starts loading the selected fi le in the fi rst available memory location
N.B. If you press the FLOPPY DISK key, select the Song and then press START/STOP or PLAY/STOP , the Song
will play in Direct from Disk mode. (See also the relative notes in the "Getting Started" chapter.
Most of the wk1000 compatible fi les are recognized from their extension, with the exception of: wk/pk
Songs, STYLES and ALL fi les.
MIDIFILES and single STYLES will respectively appear as Mid e U01-U08 in the display.
The extension for SAMPLES and PERFORMANCES, will be shown in the display.
No extension is shown for Songs in WK and PK format.
NOTE: the wk1000 is not compatible with the wk3 and pk7 SONG STYLE fi les.
The following fi les are available in the disk: SONG, MIDIFILE, STYLE, PERFORMANCE and SAMPLE.
• If you wish to load ALL STYLES as a Group, press the DISK key, and then press the CURSOR but-
ton. The "ALLSTYLES" indication starts blinking in the display. Press ENTER to start loading.
• If you wish to load all fi les together, press the CURSOR key once again. The "ALL.DISK" indication
will blink in the display. Press ENTER to start loading.
• To Play the Songs loaded in the memory, digit the number corresponding to the selected Song
(111-117) in the numeric keypad. Then press PLAY/STOP to start the execution.
• To play a User Style from the memory, press the STYLE button (the LED must be ON) and select
the desired Style (96-103), by entering the relative number in the numeric keypad. Press SINGLE
TOUCH PLAY and start playing the Style.
