    Change the Administrator Password It is recommended that you change the default administrator password to a more secure password, so this Xerox machine is not compromised. To change the Administrator password: At your workstation, open the web browser and enter the IP Address of the machine in the Address Bar.

    At a workstation on your network, login to the scan filing location with the user account and copy a file into the location. If you cannot do this, the Xerox machine will not be able to scan to this location.
