3. Shortcut/Navigation Keys
[ Copy ] use to copy entries to your Personal Directory.
[ Services ] use to access Telephone Options and
Tools.
[ Quit ] use to exit an active menu. Does not affect
the status of active calls.
[Msg/Inbox] use to access voice mail.
[Shift/Outbox] reserved for future development.
[Directory] use to access Personal Directory, Redial,
and Caller Lists.
The Navigation Keys are located in the center of the
telephone. Use the Navigation Keys to scroll through
lists and options.
The [Enter Key] is located in the center of the
Navigation Keys. Use the [Enter Key] to select or
confirm an option or entry.
[Extension Line] is the key to the right of your
extension display on the graphical screen.
{Soft Keys}
The function of the soft keys varies depending upon the
particular feature being used. The various uses of the soft
keys will be discussed in the next section "How to Use the
Nortel Telephone."
Phone Idle
This phrase is used to describe when the handset is down
and the phone is not in use.
