5. Using the green hex screws in the rack hardware kit, attach the other end of the harness to
the rack ground rail.
6. Tighten the hex screw to 40 in-lb (4.5 Nm).

Module to rack

Modules with two power connections have the power connected to the left power rail and right
power rail, as viewed from the rear. Modules with one power connection are connected to the
right power rail.
Ground terminals must be fastened to the closest ground location on the rack. Secure each terminal
using the green hex screws included in the hardware kit. Using a 10 mm socket driver, tighten the
screws to 40 in-lb (4.5 Nm).
DC-powered modules require a ground connection to the rack. When connected, perform a
continuity test to verify proper grounding.
