10. Using the 3/4-inch wrench, raise the rack on the casters by turning the caster jack screws
clockwise, a little at a time, until the rack is high enough above the pallet to allow you to slide
the pallet out from under it.
WARNING!
Do not raise the rack more than necessary. Have someone watch as you raise
the rack and warn you if there is any excessive motion or tipping.
NOTE:
Turn the jack screw on one caster no more than four turns clockwise. Turn the jack
screw on all the casters the same number of turns until all four casters are extended by the
same amount. Repeat until you reach the appropriate height.
1 1. Slide the pallet out from underneath the rack and place it out of the way of the rack.
12. Lower the rack by turning the caster jack screws counterclockwise until the rack is as close to
the floor as possible but still high enough off of the floor to clear any obstacles in the path to
its final position.
For the seismic rack R2:
1.
Remove cabinet kick plate and ground cable before installing the caster set. Removing the
doors can ease installation and moving of the cabinet with casters installed.
2.
Lower the cabinet feet (raising the cabinet) high enough to fit the nut plate under the cabinet.
3.
Install the nut plate onto cabinet using one M6 screw.
4.
Install caster arm onto the cabinet using two hex socket bolts.
5.
Install caster arm to the nut plate using one hex socket bolt.
