Configuring NTP broadcast mode

Network requirements
• As shown in
Configure Switch C to operate in broadcast server mode and send broadcast messages from

VLAN-interface 2.
• Configure Switch A and Switch B to operate in broadcast client mode, and listen to broadcast
messages through their VLAN-interface 2 respectively.

Configuration procedure
Set the IP address for each interface as shown in

Configure Switch C:

Configure Switch A:

Configure Switch B:

Switch A and Switch B get synchronized upon receiving a broadcast message from Switch C.
