    The first GXP EXT draws power directly from the phone. Connect the second GXP Extension unit using the connection plate and the connection cable. The GXP2120/2110 will automatically reboot and power up the GXP Extensions. Grandstream recommends, though not required, to use a separate power supply with the second GXP EXT.

    Quick IP Call Mode: The GXP2120/GXP2110/GXP2100/GXP1450 also supports Quick IP Call mode. This enables the phone to make direct IP calls using only the last few digits (last octet) of the target phone's IP address. This is possible only if both phones are under the same LAN/VPN.

    UPGRADING AND PROVISIONING The GXP2120/GXP2110/GXP2100/GXP1450 can be upgraded via TFTP/HTTP/HTTPS by configuring the URL/IP Address for the TFTP/HTTP/HTTPS server and selecting a download method. Configure a valid URL for TFTP or HTTP; the server name can be FQDN or IP address.

    LAN environment whenever possible. NO LOCAL TFTP/HTTP SERVERS For users that would like to use remote upgrading without a local TFTP/HTTP server, Grandstream offers a NAT-friendly HTTP server. This enables users to download the latest software upgrades for their phone via this server.
