DISPLAYING TOTAL NUMBER OF
COPIES
Use the following procedure to display the total number of
copies:
>
1. Press the clear ( ) key to reset the display to zero.
2. Press and hold down the clear (
tely 5 seconds. The total number of copies will appear
in two steps, each with three digits.
Example:
Total number of copies is 1,234
Cause and remedy
Steadily lit Developer is required. Contact your service centre as soon as
possible.
Replacement of toner cartridge will be needed soon. Obtain a

Blinking
Toner cartridge must be replaced. Replace it with a new one. p. GB-12

A misfeed has occurred. Remove the misfed paper referring to the
description of „Misfeed removal." p. GB-14. Lever of fusing area
is not raised. p. GB-15. The lower side cover may be open.
If so, close it.
Service by an authorized service technician is required.

Side cover is open. Close the side cover securely by pressing
the round projections near the side cover open button. p. GB-13
Paper tray is empty. Load copy paper. p. GB-6
A misfeed has occurred in the paper tray. Remove the misfed paper.

Paper tray is not securely installed. Push the tray in securely.

The copier will not function. Turn the power switch off and then
switch it on,and if there is again an error, remove the power cord
from the outlet, and contact your authorized service center.

display, solve the problem immediately referring to both
the table below and the relevant page.
