    (1) Operation of original switchback In the double-sided original mode, after the first side of an original is scanned, the switchback feedshift guide is activated to switch the conveying path to the switchback tray side and the original is fed to the switchback tray. Then, the original is reversed by the reverse rotation of the original switchback motor (OSBM) and conveyed again to the original conveying section.
