Cleaning the Outside

• Using a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent,
wipe the outside of the printer. Do not use abrasives
or corrosive detergents.

Cleaning the Transport Roller and Transfer Unit

1. Press the top cover release button, and swing open
the cover completely.

2. Remove the toner module, and then the
photoconductor module.
Caution! Whenever you remove the
photoconductor module, wrap it in a cloth
immediately to prevent light from striking it.
3. Turning the transport roller drive gear, wipe the
transport roller clean with a soft cloth.
4. Unsnap the transfer unit cleaner from the printer
cover.
