TUBE WIRING
Click this button to
provide a unique view
of the VT12 hotwir-
ing that takes place
when you change the MODE select switch. A graphic
representation of each of the four tube gain stages is pre-
sented with external circuitry representing gain, boost,
and Class A/Class AB operation. As you switch the MODE
select switch, watch the graphic display change corre-
sponding to the configuration of the selected mode.
You can modify the selected mode by clicking on a switch
or a "BOOST" with your mouse. This is a temporary modi-
fication that is reset when you change the mode switch.
However, if you like the sound of your rewired mode, you
can save it as a new mode using the FILE button in the
Control Panel (see FILE later on in this section).
Click the arrow button in the upper right corner of
the Tube Wiring display to close the window.
Note: If Line, Acoustic, Hi Fi, or Jazz are selected with
the Mode switch, the Tube Wiring display is blank be-
cause these modes bypass the tube preamp stage.
