Saving Your Own

If you have made changes to a preset and want to
overwrite the original preset, simply press and hold the
SAVE button [31] for two seconds. The message "Save
Complete" will appear in the display when the new set-
tings have been saved to memory.
Notice that banks 13-24 are duplicates of banks 1-12.
When overwriting or creating new presets, use banks 13
-24 since they are duplicated in banks 1-12.
If you do overwrite one or more presets in banks 1-12
and want to revert to the original factory presets, press
and hold the "MIC" and "TOOLS" buttons when powering
up the VT12. This restores the original factory presets in
banks 1-12. This doesn't affect banks 13-24, so it won't
erase the presets you have stored there.
To create and save a new preset:
1. Press and release the Save button [31].
2. "Save to Bank" appears in the display. Rotate the
Select/Adjust knob [22] until the desired bank ap-
pears in the display.
3. Press the Select/Adjust knob to select the bank.
4. "Save to Channel" appears in the display. Rotate the
Select Adjust knob until the desire channel appears
in the display.
5. Press the Select/Adjust knob to select the channel.
6. "Save to Name" appears in the display. Rotate the
Select/Adjust knob until the first letter of the name
appears in the display. Press the Select/Adjust knob
to move on to the next letter. Repeat the process
until you have selected every letter in the name
(you can select blank spaces and numbers as well,
with up to 8 characters in each line of the name).
7. Press the SAVE button to complete the operation.
Note: You can save all the presets to your computer's
hard drive and recall them later using the FILE button
in the VT12 Control Panel. See page 22 for more info.
