The following text is displayed left-justified at the top of the display:

Press the * button to terminate the procedure, or the # button to save the new values. If you
press the # button, the following text is displayed.

Site-Specific Option Number Setting

WARNING:
Do not perform this procedure if you are using static addressing. Perform this procedure
only if you are using DHCP and the LAN administrator instructs you to do this.
Use the following procedure to set the Site-Specific Option Number (SSON).
1. While the phone is on-hook and idle, press the following sequence of keys on the faceplate of
the telephone:
Hold 7 7 6 6 # (Hold S S O N #)
The following text is displayed left-justified at the top of the display:
SSON=ddd
New=_
where ddd is the value of SSON.
2. Enter a valid value (between 128 and 255) for the SSON.
If a value different from the current value of SSON is entered, the following text is displayed
left-justified at the top of the display:
Save new value?
*=no
#=yes
Press the * button to terminate the procedure, or the # button to save the new value. If you
press the # button, the following text is displayed:
New value
being saved
The new value is saved, and the user interface is restored to its previous state.
