MD Operation
To Display/Scroll MD Text
When the text [character information (disc
name, track name etc.)] is memorized in MD,
the text can be shown in the unit's display.
Press the TITLE button during Mini Disc
playback.
The mode will change every time the button is
pressed.
TEXT DISPLAY(TRACK NAME)
ELAPSED TIME DISPLAY
* "No Text" will be displayed when no text is
available.
If the text display is too long (exceeds 16
digits), press the (SCRL) button.
(When the scroll setting is set to the manual
mode)
Each line of the text is scrolled one at a time.
After the scrolling is completed, the unit returns
to the normal mode.
To cancel scrolling, press the SCRL button
again.
Notes:
• When the scroll setting is set to AUTO, the
display will continuously scroll regardless of
whether the SCRL button is pressed (see
CD/MD Text Scroll Setting, page 24).
• Some characters may not be displayed
correctly with this device, depending on the
model used to record or input the title with.
• "No Text" will be displayed if no disc name
or track name is available.
• Scrolling may be automatic in some cases.
