Panel Control Unit and Card Slots

4.3-inch Color LCD Monitor
Use this monitor for thumbnail screens and other
screens to facilitate video/audio searches and checks.

SUPER switch
Switches the super output as follows.
ON: Outputs superimposed data such as time
codes to the LCD monitor and the output
connector selected in setup menu No.005
(SUPER).
OFF: Does not output any superimposed
information.

SD/SDHC Memory Card Slot / Access Lamp
Insert the SD/SDHC memory card with the label side
facing up and the end with the corner cut off facing in.
Push in the card until it locks into place.
To remove the card, first make sure that the green
lamp is on or orange lamp is not blinking, then push it
in the direction of insertion to release the lock.
➝When using an SD/SDHC memory card for AVCHD
recording and playback (option), refer to "Using SD/
SDHC Memory Cards" (page 72).

<Precautions in using SD/SDHC
• Do not insert any cards other than SD/SDHC memory
cards.
• This unit uses only SD/SDHC memory cards that comply
with the SD/SDHC specifications. Other memory cards
such as MultiMediaCard
miniSD or microSD card, be sure to use an adaptor
dedicated for use with the miniSD or microSD card.
*1: The SDHC (SD High Capacity)/miniSDHC/microSDHC
memory card is a new standard, established by the SD
Card Association in 2006, for large-scale memory
cards with capacities above 2 GB.

• Cards that will be used on this unit should also be formatted
on this unit.
• This unit supports the following SD and SDHC memory
card capacities.
– SD: 8 MB to 2 GB
– SDHC: 4 GB to 32 GB
