Pinch the rear guide clip and slide it to the
size of paper.
Align the
mark of the paper size with
the
mark on the guide.
6.
Load the paper with the print side facing up.
Note
• Do not fill paper above the maximum fill line. Doing so
can cause paper jams.
7.
Set the paper size dial to match the paper
size loaded in the tray.

• When loading postcards, envelopes, or non-standard
size paper in the tray, set the paper size dial to [

Push the tray all the way into the printer.
If the tray is extended, the extended portion
sticks out from the back of the printer.
Important
• When inserting the tray, be careful not to get your
fingers caught between the tray and the printer or
another tray (if the optional sheet feeders are installed).
9.
If the display shows a message asking you to
set the paper type, set the paper type loaded
in the tray.
