Rearview and door mirrors
Retractable power door mirrors
(option)
The mirrors can be retracted for parking and
driving in narrow spaces.
– Press down the L and R buttons at the
same time.
– Release them after approximately one
second. The mirrors automatically stop in
the fully retracted position.
IMPORTANT!
Do not use a scraper to remove ice from
the mirrors as this can scratch the glass.
Use the defroster function instead, see
page 65.
WARNING!
The driver-side door mirror is wide angled
to provide optimal vision. Objects may
appear further away than they actually are.
Folding out the mirrors
– Press down the L and R buttons at the
same time. The mirrors automatically stop
in the fully extended position.
Resetting to neutral
Mirrors that have been moved out of position
by an external force must be reset to the
neutral position for electric retracting and
extending to work.
– Use the L and R buttons to retract the
mirrors.
– Extend the mirrors again with the L and R
buttons. The mirrors are now reset to the
neutral position.
Storing door mirror positions
The positions of the mirrors are stored when
the car is locked with the remote control.
When the car is unlocked with the same
remote control the mirrors and the driver's
seat adopt the stored positions within
five minutes.
Home safe and approach lighting
The lamps on the door mirrors light when the
home safe lighting or approach lighting is
activated.
