Knowing the car's type designation, vehicle
identification and engine numbers can facil-
itate all contact with authorised Volvo
workshops regarding the car and when
ordering spare parts and accessories.
1. Type designation, vehicle identifi-
cation number, maximum permissible
weights, codes for colour and uphol-
stery and type approval number.
2. Decal for parking heater.
3. Engine type designation, component
and serial number.
4. VIN number (type and model year
designation plus chassis number).
5. Decal for engine oil.
6. Gearbox type designation and serial
number
