Emergency puncture repair

General
The car is delivered with a puncture repair kit
instead of spare wheel. The puncture repair
kit can be used to both seal the puncture and
to check and adjust the tyre pressure. The kit
consists of an electric air compressor and an
integrated canister with sealing liquid.
Location of emergency puncture
repair kit
The emergency puncture repair kit, with
compressor and tools, is located in the tunnel
for the ski compartment, see page 86.
Choose the 12 V socket which is closest to
the punctured tyre for connecting the
compressor.

WARNING!
The sealing fluid may cause irritation if it
comes into direct contact with skin. In the
case of contact with skin, wash away the
fluid with soap and water.
Emergency puncture repair kit
The emergency puncture repair kit is only
intended to work as a temporary repair so
that the car can be driven further for a
maximum of 200 km, or to the nearest tyre
centre. The sealing fluid has the capacity to
effectively seal tyres which have punctures in
the tread.
The sealing fluid canister should be replaced
before its expiration date or after use of the
puncture repair kit.

the compressor, see the illustration on
page 146.

NOTE! The emergency puncture repair kit is
only intended for sealing tyres with a
puncture in the tread.
The emergency puncture repair kit has limited
capacity to seal tyres which have punctures
in the wall. Do not seal tyres with the
emergency puncture repair kit if they have
larger slits, cracks or similar damage.
