Manner profile
To activate the Manner profile instantly, open your Vertu phone and press
and hold the [ # ] key. You can switch off the ringing tone, message alert
tone, keypad tone and other sounds by just pressing one key. When the
Manner profile is set, your Vertu phone will vibrate upon receiving voice
calls or messages.
The following sounds are not switched off, even if the Manner profile is set:
Camera shutter sound

Video recording start / end sound and video playback sound

Sound / voice from loud speakers when hands-free conversation is on during a
>
call
Music playback sound from Media player
>
Sound effects from browser plug-ins
>
Sound effects or playback sounds from Java applications and games
>
Alarm tone
>
Tip: Press and hold the [ # ] key while your Vertu phone is open and
the Home screen is visible to quickly return to the General profile
when the Manner profile is set.

Flight profile

The Flight profile allows you to deactivate all radio frequency functions.
With this profile, you can only use the functions that do not require any
network connections.
When you enter a phone number on the Home screen and then press the
[Send] key on the Flight profile, a message is displayed asking if you would
like to exit the Flight profile to allow the phone to make a call. If you would
prefer to switch the profile and place a call, select Yes to proceed.
Tip: If you switch the power off with the Flight profile activated and
switch the power on again, a message "Activate flight profile?" will
appear. To continue using the Flight profile, select Yes. Selecting No
will enable the General profile.
Warning: Always switch the phone off when wireless device use
is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger.

Ringing tones

Your Vertu phone comes with various special ringing tones. You can also
download files in AAC, MP3 and MIDI formats from a computer or a website
to set them for use as ringing tones.
Changing the ringing tone:
Use the following procedure to change the ringing tone:
1. Open the fold and press the [End] key until the Home screen appears.
2. Select Menu » Settings » Tones (or select Menu » Settings » Profiles »
currently active profile » Personalise).
3. Move the cursor to Ringing tone.
4. Select Change (centre [SELECT] key).

folder appears.
You can also select Open Gallery by moving the [Navigation] key left or right,

instead of selecting Change. In this case, a list of all Gallery folders appears.
Select one of the folers that includes files that can be used as ringing tones.
In addition, you can also move the [Navigation] key left or right to select Tone
>
download and download ringing tones from the web.
5. Move the [Navigation] key up and down to select the desired ringing
tone.
Leave your cursor above a ringing tone for a second or so to listen to a
>
preview. Repeat this process to find a ringing tone you would prefer. When
you have it, press the centre [SELECT] key to select it.
6. Select Options » Save to save the settings.
