Changing how the menu is displayed
You can customise how the main menu is displayed using the following
procedure.
1. Open the fold and press the [End] key until the Home screen appears.
2. Select Menu » Options » Main menu view.
3. Select one of the following options.
List: Displays one main menu item filling out the screen at a time. To move to

the next menu item, press the [Navigation] key (Down). To return to the
previous item, press the [Navigation] key (Up).
Grid (default setting): Lists all the main menu items with small icons on the
>
same screen. You can change the positions of the icons as you wish: for
example, you may move the menu icons that you use most often, to the top of
the screen, by selecting Menu » Options » Organise .

Checking your own phone number

The following shortcut can be used from the Home screen to quickly check
your own phone number.
1. Open the fold and press the [End] key until the Home screen appears.
2. Press the centre [SELECT] key once, and then press the [ 0 ] key.
Or you can also check your own phone number by selecting Menu »
Contacts » My numbers from the stand-by display.
Note: Depending on the SIM card in use, this function may not work.

Shortcuts assigned to the [Navigation] key
When you first receive your Vertu phone, the following shortcuts have been
assigned to each direction (Up, Down, Left, Right) of the [Navigation] key
(page 18). You can quickly launch the relevant function simply by pressing
the corresponding direction of the [Navigation] key from the Home screen.
[Navigation] key (Up)
[Navigation] key (Down)
[Navigation] key (Left)
[Navigation] key (Right)
You can reconfigure these shortcut assignment on the Setup Wizards
(page 25), or on the menu under Menu » Settings » My shortcuts »
Navigation key.
Refer to "Using the Go to application" on page 31 for information on the Go
to shortcut application.
Note that the [Navigation] key (Up) works as a dedicated key to select the
Vertu Feeds widget (page 28), when this feature is turned on and the
widget is currently in display on the Home screen of the inner display.
Shortcuts assigned to the [Selection] keys
In addition to the [Navigation] key, the following shortcuts have been assigned
to the right and left [Selection] keys (page 18) by default. You can also change
these shortcuts to the ones of your preference.
