IRLIB Infrared Library Management Program

Introduction

IRLIB is used to manage Infrared (IR) control functions created with an IRIS Infrared
Capture Unit. The IRIS unit captures IR functions and sends them to the IRLIB Li-
brary Management Program. The IRLIBX program and the AXCESS Central Control-
ler/NetLinx Integrated Controller Systems provide you with unlimited IR control
capability.
Once library of IR functions is created, you can use the IRLIBX program to arrange
them as needed for your particular system application. Your selections can then be
sent to any controllable device.

Minimum System Requirements

Your computer must have MS-DOS version 2.1 or higher installed to run the IRLIBX
program. IRLIBX requires a minimum 640 KB of memory (RAM) or higher.

Program Files

The executable IRLIB program file is IRLIBX.EXE. The IRLIBX program uses conven-
tional 640 KB memory and also extended memory to maintain a large number of
hand control files in a single directory.

Features

IRLIB features include:
Compatibility with any IBM PC, XT, AT, or compatible computer
Contains pull-down menus for building and managing your hand control
files
Provides the ability to create multiple IR-control libraries for hundreds of
different controllers
