Navigation System
Operation
Controlling Navigation
System (Optional)
If an optional Alpine Navigation System is
connected to the CVA-1000R, the Navigation
System can be controlled from the CVA-1000R.
Depending upon the Navigation System
connected, some functions and display indica-
tors vary. For details, consult your Alpine dealer.
Press the SOURCE button.
The menu screen appears.
If a car navigation system is connected, "AUX1"
changes to "NAV."
Note:
Pressing the SOURCE button while driving
(Parking Brake OFF) will cause the audio
source to change immediately. The
SOURCE Selection menu will not appear.
Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until
you are in the Navigation mode.
Turn the rotary switch and select the NAV.
menu, then press the rotary switch.
The display changes to the Navigation control
screen.
Press the FUNC button.
The contents of the Function Guide screen
changes to the button names of the remote
control supplied.
Press the NEXT button.
The button names change.
Notes:
When an Alpine Navigation system is
connected to the CVA-1000R and it is set
to the Audio Interrupt mode, the route
guidance (voice and display) comes in
during radio reception. In this case, you
can perform operation of the power on/off,
volume adjustment, screen angle
adjustment and screen raising/lowering
only.
