1. General information

Your Nokia 6600 provides various
functions that are handy for daily
use, such as Camera, Video recorder,
Messaging, E-mail, Wallet, Clock,
Calculator, and Calendar.
WARNING! All of the
features in this device, other
than the alarm clock require
the phone to be switched on
to use the features. Do not
switch the device on when
wireless phone use may
cause interference or
danger.
Stickers in the sales package
• The stickers included on the
warranty card, in the sales
package, contain important
information for service and
customer support purposes. The
sales package also includes
instructions on how you should
use these stickers.

■ Standby mode

The indicators described below are
shown when the phone is ready for
use, with no characters keyed in. In

this state, the phone is in 'standby
mode' .
A Shows the signal strength of the
cellular network at your current
location. The higher the bar, the
stronger the signal. The antenna
symbol
is replaced with the GPRS
symbol
when
GPRS connection
has been set to

a connection is available in the
network or in the current cell. See

B Shows an analogue or a digital
clock. See
"Date and time" on page

C Indicates in which cellular network
the phone is currently being used.
D Shows the battery charge level.
The higher the bar, the more power
left in the battery.
