COPYING
The UX-222
can also be used to make copies. In particular, this function
can be used to make
samplecopiesof documentsto betransmittedto seeifthe resolution or contrast
needs adjustment.
1. Load the document face down as you would for a
transmission.
z. If desired, adjust the resolution and contrast with

the RESOLUTION key.
3. Press the START/COPY key.

INCOMING CALLS DURING COPYING
The UX-222goes into telephone
mode during copying, so if a call comes in at this time, pick up
the handset to answer.
To receive a document, press the START/COPY key after copying is finished. If
you want to begin reception immediately, press the STOP key to stop copying, and
then press the START/COPY key as soon as the document has fed out and the
machine returned to standby mode.
