CLEANINGTHETAPE HEAD
1. Open thetape compat-tmentcover and remove the
cassette.
z. Gently wipe the capstan, head, and pinch roller
with a cotton swab.
Important: Do not apply undue force
when wiping, as the height and angle of
the
head have been precisely adjusted.
DEMAGNETIZING THE CASSE~E
HEAD
The tape head becomes gradually magnetized while being used, and this can affect sound quality.
We recommend that you demagnetize it from time to time using a commercially available demag-
netizer. Use the demagnetizer in accordance with the instructions provided with it.
